baby:Alchemy. The science of understanding, deconstructing, and reconstructing matter. However, it is not an all-powerful art; it is impossible to create something out of nothing. If one wishes to obtain something, something of equal value must be given. This is the Law of Equivalent Exchange, the basis of all alchemy. In accordance with this law, there is a taboo among alchemists: human transmutation is strictly forbidden - for what could equal the value of a human soul...?

thegirlwiththesuninhereyes replied to your post “Spent some time today telling my dad about why online relationships…”

its sad that even tho the internet and technology is so hella in your face now, people still be judging online friend/relationships. like. even with younger people that grew up with the internet. idgi.

It is true. Like several of my past relationships and like almost half my friendships have been conducted entirely via the internet. In the past I was apt to lie about it because of how people, even people my own age, acted/act about it. Now I’m pretty shameless about it because if people don’t get it and I step around the subject then how will people ever get it through their heads?

Like literally I understand if you don’t have internet friends and you don’t feel like you need them but judging people who have them is so stupid. Just because you managed to find a football player who tickled your titties doesn’t mean I did so I turn to the internet to find partners who fulfill what I need in a relationship.

The internet makes it 1000x easier to find people with similar interests and with such a wide variety of cultures it can only be beneficial. Anyone who denies that has obviously never been on the internet… Sorry there aren’t a ton of feminist vegans in my area so I find them on the internet. Sorry that, though I love my IRL friends, the people I know in person can’t always fill the function I need from people. And I’m SOOOO sorry that I am looking for someone I will ENJOY spending my life with romantically instead of just someone I can deal with.

This turned into a rant where I’m preaching at the choir but ya know.

Never ending laughter about how everyone in the community thinks they get a say in my body. pffftttt you’re fucking with the wrong feminist old white dudes

Spent some time today telling my dad about why online relationships and friendships are just as valid as ones taking place in person. He didn’t really seem to get it but I think I opened his mind a little bit IDK> I tried to use examples of my online friends he knows about, which is hard because he only knows a few x_x

Charlie drew me and I’m still blushing oh mah gosh. o//o
